OK as an organisation, unlike many others, we don't really have THAT much to 'sell', however we do have a few items that have proven popular over the years.

This page is,like the others, under constant construction and being added to, so the WHOLE list of items we sell on may not be complete as yet.

TWO BOOKS ON OFFER TO SDF MEMBERS AT REDUCED PRICES.

First is "The Self-Defence Manual" By Martin. J. Dougherty.                               This book is excellent for beginners and advanced alike.                                    The book is now 'out of print', but Martin has copies.                                            They are being offered to SDF members at just £5 per copy plus postage. 'Standard' Garments are those with just the SDF Logo on the LEFT Breast.                 Instructor's Garments have the word Instructor on the RIGHT as well.                                     NOTE ALL instructor's garments are charged £1.00p extra to have the word "Instructor" added.

One a standard SDF Circular badge with the logo and motto. The other is a small rectangular badge in white with black writing and the words: Official SDF Instructor. BOTH are £5.00p including Post & Package.                                                                                      NOTE there is a slight problem with stocks at the moment as when we moved offices, they have 'gone missing' in the move. They will turn up, there is after all nearly 100 of them. If they DON'T turn up then we will simply have to order more stocks

DVD's

OK .... Dave Turton along with the SDF has produced a series of DVD's.                                              These DVD's were made in conjunction with NEW APPROACH PUBLISHING (NAP)

Strictly speaking NAP 'own' these DVD's and really buyers should purchase them directly FROM NAP. However following a meeting with Ian Goehler of NAP about a year or so ago, I made it very clear that I believed that SDF members shouldn't have to pay the same for DVD's made by their Federation Head as would the general buying public,

Therefore a deal was struck wherebye I recieved a discount on DVD's for SDF members. However to be very correct and legally binding I am only allowed to sell these DVD's at a discount if the member encloses their SDF Number along with their order.                                                         THIS IS A STRICT TERM OF PURCHASE!

DAVE TURTON 8TH DAN, SDF HEAD has produced many DVD’s through a company known as NAP PRODUCTIONS. They film, edit and sell these DVD’s. However Dave has negotiated a DISCOUNT price from those advertised by NAP solely for SDF & Affiliate members ONLY.

 

SET ONE: This is the TWO DVD set known as: “Modern Street Combat”. This is an abridged version of the SDF Self-Defence System. In order to make it easier for martial artists whose main style is NOT SDF to combine our methods into their own, we produced the Modern Street Combat System (MSC). These 2 DVD’s will show you the main aspects of the SDF System in such a way that these methods can easily be incorporated into any other style.

SET TWO: This is a SIX DVD Set entitled “1/77 Series”

The 6 DVD’s cover some of the lesser-known combat methods.
